APPS file SW not found

Hello, I have problem with z3x in last days. Every phone I want to unlock with 2G moduje program still ask me about APPS file. Even with Avila. What's wrong? Program is reinstalled, but still same problem.

Can try to update to new version .34 and see if bug is fixed. If still the same could also try the method posted in this thread here something wrong in 3.5.0033 ?

Had one S3650 with same bug today, but customer did not want to wait and took phone so could not test myself. Hope this help.

Same Problem here.
Version 3.5.0038 says when i try to direct unlock:

Two options :

1/ you try with older tool as mentionned above see if it works
2/ go to support, download firmware, flash set, then unlock pasting apps file in z3x software

Z3x fix this error. It doesn´t work since last march.

yes you're right, but if you wait that to work on a phone, explain your customer he might get his stuff back in many many weeks, monthes, years maybe

Of course... I´m using now other tools like Polar or NSPro.
But I can´t undestand this from Z3x support.

is the new way of unlocking.
I think it's bad. this way .....
* you should put the file in the APPS tab.
APPS uses the program to do the job (Pacht)
have to put the file in the same APPS version that uses the device.
to put a different one dies and the player have to make a flex for the same work again.

a very bad idea. Z3X team must change the way you unlock again!

Actually blang seems to be in trouble, that's why there are not so much evolutions these days.

As many versions of tool can be launched on your computer when you make your own installation, if older works of course, you are not really without solution.

On my computer, besides new versions, I still have a 0022 version cause it works better on many phones.

Any news on this, is old version still only solution or any plans to put old method into newer versions, as this unlock method is a step back rather than forward in my opinion alot of time and storage needed to get all APP files for all models and version really is not a perfect method, when old method was simple and quick.

Its simple:

In latest samsung 2G Tool (3.5.0040) go to "setting model" tab and uncheck "Use server", select box com port and press direct unlock with 2in1 cable
