Cannot unlock i9300? - GSM-Forum

Hello, i have fresh installed z3x in new formatted pc and also installed SamsungDriversPack_1.4 now when i connect i9300 pc doesnt detect the phone but reads info ok...but when i unlock nothing,help:

Selected model: I9300
Selected port: COM4 USB Serial Port
Selected port speed: 115200
Searching Samsung modem... detected COM5
Reading phone info...
Software version: I9300XXEMG4/I9300XXEMG4/I9300XEFEMG2
IMEI: 35194**********
Product code: GT-I9300RWDXEF
Done with Samsung Tool v.17.1

Selected model: I9300
Selected port: COM4 USB Serial Port
Selected port speed: 115200
Phone not found
Done with Samsung Tool v.17.1

When i connect same box in another pc, it unlocks properly....help!! Should i install driverspack_1.3 first then 1.4?

root the phone 1st. http://download.chainfire.eu/229/CF-...etrieve_file=1

put the phone on download mode.

_ extract the files that you download.double click the odin 3.0.7

_ click the PDA in Odin..Get the this file

_ CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300.tar.md5

Procedure:
1. Root the phone using odin
2. Open Samsung Tool 17.1
3. Select Phone Model
4. Select COM port
5. Click Read Info Button
6. Click Unlock Button
7. Wait until phone reboot
8. Done...

I already rooted the phone as I said I connected the box to another PC and unlocked the phone, it's a driver problem, I can't seem to understand help!!

Brother just download 14.7 ver samsung tool and unlock ur problem will solved

did u switched on usb debugging in developer options??

Press [2] Speed 921600
Press DEBUG MSG 115200
Restart Phone

Try this and their are many thread available about i9300 unlocking... Use search option....

I unlocked with 17.1 on another PC also I enabled USB debugging, maybe I'll install kies on the PC it's not working on?

Still same problem, can read info but cannot unlock, can anyone help me out?

turn on phone

enable usb debagging

open cmd in adb-fastboot folder

type adb devices

if show serial number then go to z3x and do unlock

I haven't installed android-sdk, could that be the problem?

Sometime U have to press 5-10 times unlock button before it see the phone.
