Member: 48396 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 82 | U can fix imei on any version, 4.3, 4.1.2 or 4.1.1. I downgraded to N7100XXDME6 (4.1.2) trying to fix s/n. I fixed s/n with 16.7 as I thought, but only 10 digits was restored, not 11 as it should. So my phone still have no network. BR |

Member: 48396 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 82 | Unpack firmware? U will get build_name.tar.md5 file. Remove .md5 at the end of file, U will get build_name.tar file. After that U have 2 methods how to edit that fw file. 1. Use Total Commander. Start TC, navigate to your file, double click it to open. Delete param.bin sboot.bin tz.img files. It can be only 2 files in fw, without param.bin, then delete only 2 this files. Close file by clicking [..]. Now this file can be flashed via Odin, selected as PDA. or 2. Unpack build_name.tar using latest Winrar or 7-Zip in any folder, delete files I've pointed above. Pack files back to tar archive using 7-Zip. Flash via Odin, selecting as PDA. After editing firmware U should get something like this: P.S. I'm using method No.1, b'cos it's simple and TC is my favorite file manager and I'm using it since it was released in public (about 20 years ago). |
