Cant unlock samsung t989.need z3x 12.1!! - GSM-Forum

Iam trying to unlock samsung T989 and unfortunately its failing

here are the logs

IMEI: 0

Done with Samsung Tool PRO v.26.6

after direct unlock it is still locked.i have been trying to get version 12.1 and i cant get it.anyone has it or has link because it seems it the one that can unlock this phone

did u tried with latest 27.7??

the lowest that i have its 16.9 if thats any good to u

i r tried using the latest and using 14.8 but same thing.i even wrote androis 2.3.5 firmware but still same old same old!!!

Bro, you need to use UART Cable

Micro-UART cable:
1. Phone must be powered on.
2. Type *#7284# and choose Modem for UART and PDA for USB options.
3. Type *#9090# and choose UART.
4. Reboot phone.
5. Connect the phone to your z3x UART port.
6. Choose correct COM port(COM?? z3x box serial port) in port settings.
7. Press 'Unlock' button for direct unlock or 'Read codes' to read security codes.

You don't need any specific z3x tool version to unlock this phone

FiNALLY FIGURED OUT THEPROBLEM.tHE PROBLEM IS THE BUILD NUMBER!!

This bulid number is not unlockable with z3x
Build: M8260A-AABQOCZM-3.0.552040T
try as you may you will not succeed!!
