pls am i need of QCN FILE for s4 i9508 |
From what it looks like Z3X and QPST use slightly different processes Reading and Writing QCN files... So anyone who backed up QCN files using QPST, when you try to write them via Z3X they will fail, and will show up as incorrect model for some reason, at least with this I537 and i337 it seems, so its one or the other, my suggestion is when you have good 4G samsung backup QCN on both QPST and Read QCN from Z3X so if you ever need to flash to phone you can use both methods, QPST with RNDIS and Z3X with DM+MODEM+ADB, thats what I am currently doing, building up two seperate folders of QCN files |
Why not just use CDMA tools nv reader and writer to unify which USB setting everyone should be on and which file to use in which program? Its a VERY simple program to use and you can EASILY edit the files/items. |

Thanks again ecs87 I totally forgot about the nv items reader/writer tool. I am currently connected to good I537 in DM+MODEM+ADB and connected to port and its reading the NV items, is this the correct range and can you use this range for all or most models? Reading NV-items, in range of: 00000 (0x0000) - 65535 (0xFFFF)...? |
