Yes but you'll need a CERT that no one else is using. Basically you're going to end up buying a CERT or having access to a database of CERTs.

Your "unique" CERT must not be so unique. If it isn't working for MetroPCS then your seller jipped you. It's a brutal market out there with plenty of scammers. You should've asked for the IMEI of the CERT to make sure it was usable on Metro before getting it.

Ah okay I see. So I need to verify with MetroPCS first correct?

When buying a .cert you need to verify a few things

1) is the seller legit
2) is the IMEI in the CERT blacklisted
3) Can the IMEI in the CERT be used on MetroPCS (you're going to need to contact MetroPCS most likely for this step)
4) will the seller sell your cert file to other people
5) are you OK with the seller selling your cert to other people
