Not necessarily. The Imei can still get registered on Metro PCS which allows BYOP (Bring your own phone). In which case, if your imei is clean, they can allow it into their database. From there, if you write your Certs to other phones, it may be out of your reach if someone else blacklists your imei while on Metro PCS. Just a possibility I wouldn't want you to neglect.
