But if I could get one person from EU or Asia to share a cert with me (and not with anyone else), then there's a good chance that it won't be blocked here by T-Mobile, right? The problem is too many people using the same IMEI on the same network, correct?

HI the big problem is T-mobile allowed to connect phone to the insurance which is not bought from them with whatever IMEI, then the people sale the phone and call to insurance and t-mobile blacklisted the IMEI. DOESENT mater this IMEI is new old or whatever is it.

If you want open brand new phone take from this phone the IMEI share in Internet and wait to see ))

The problem is the price of the Service.

I'm agree something is need to change or this Boxes going to lose a lot of USERS.

cert can be readed from N900 exynos based. try find someone who can read for you.

Not at all, *#0808# DM+MODEM+ADB with phone working, first wipe, then find your CERT file and write CERT. You should be good to go as easy as that.

Am I supposed to back up my EFS first? And do I do that by clicking 'Read QCN'?
