Ok the instructions on the Z3X say:

Repair IMEI/Serial/BT/WiFi/Product Code:
1. Power on the phone.
2. Type *#0808# and select 'DM+MODEM+ADB'.
3. Reboot phone.
4. Connect USB cable, install drivers if needed.
5. Select Samsung diagnostic port in port settings.
6. Press 'Reset MSL' button to deactivate security.
7. Wait till phone reboot.
8. Tap 7 times on 'Build number' in 'Settings'-'About phone' to enable 'Developer options',
go to 'Settings'-'Developer options' and enable 'USB debugging'.
9. Select device in ADB settings.
10. Fill values what you need to repair.
11. Press 'Repair' button.

They mean the "Repair" tab on the software. There you will find "Reset EFS", Disable Factory Mode", Wipe EFS/NVM", "Reset MSL", "Activate DIAG", "Reboot to..". If you want to write the Cert, you need to click on click on the "Backup" tab.

Nope, that is under the repair tab... They mean that if you want to repair IMEI you write the values then press the REAPAIR button like in other phones. Its' very clear... Just wrong because on that model I guess there is no repair imei or patch cert, just write cert with diff IMEI. It's like going to a car wash and press the button to start but they really mean press the button and go home and wash it. Great tool but let's be honest, sometimes instructions seem like copy/paste generic stuff from other model phones. Instructions should be model specific...

I know that is under the "Repair tab". I think those instructions should be in the flash section or something. I think that they just say that to work with "Disable Factory Mode", Wipe EFS/NVM", "Reset MSL", "Activate DIAG", "Reboot to..", you need to click on the "Repair Tab".

You are right in a way. There are so many models that there should be a couple copy and pastes here and there. There are also many people working on these security patches and ways around. People from different parts of the world and different languages. So, I would not blame them for that. We are lucky that these Smart Box even exist. Let's just use a little commun sense and forgive them the little mistakes
