Convert G950X into a G950F with network [No solution YET] - GSM-Forum

Hello , i'd like to know if there's a possibility to convert a retail model of the samsung s8 g950X into a functionnal g950F in view of all the antenna are included in the X mainboard ... i've flashed with official

G950FXXU1AQDG _XXU1AQDG_OXM1AQDG

it works but know it shows only serial number but no imei ... Is there a possibility to put an IMEI number to make call ?

No you can't G950x not have baseband on pcb mean can't support gsm call and other think.

thhank u for the answer anyway there isn't any other way ( except puting a new g950f working mainboard ) like solder a new baseband in the G950X mainboard ?

And from where you get working baseband chip(working one) with all binnary elements like ressistor, capacitor, coil that are missing ?

The board is not populated in that area. Replace whole motherboard easy and cheaper.

Ok I'm starting to get it ... so this means that's the better solution is to put a new entire working G950F cellular s8's mainboard

I can confirm that the baseband chip and some other passive components are missing on the "X" board, so don't waste your time. They are not stupid to put a fully working phone on display you know...
