OS is XP SP3.
I have tested with the e-gate 3.0.6 drivers and it doesn't work.

Windows doesn't actually ask for a specific driver, just "Smart Card". Other symptom is the yellow led on the box (upper right) blinks.

I purchaced a raptorware z3x box back in jan 2011. worked very well until 2 weeks ago. same problem as most people on this thread. I cleaned the sim card reader and sim with switch cleaner and for 48 hours it worked. Yesterday it stoped working again. I put the sim into a PKEY and the card connects ok, when I plug in the raptorware z3x box "Device not recognized" IT IS NOT A DRIVER PROBLEM!!
If you are having problems is it a RAPTORWARE box or the standard square box version?
I suspect Raptorware has a major hardware problem, Support never gives any advice, this makes me very suspecious as if they know problem exists with is box. I have just purchased a replacement Square x3z box so will test in the morning. The shop I purchaced the Raptorware box from (cables4phones) refuse to honour any warranty saying they only give a 7 day warranty!!!!!! I wonder why?

Guys, those who have a SN starting with "F", try the PKEY drivers (PKey-driver.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download). It worked for me

Unfortunately In my case it is not a driver problem. The problem is related to the sim card reader within the box. If I take the sim out of the raptorware device and put it into a P-KEY USB device the card is OK. The box has a serious short circuit on it. I have purchased a replacement box. The new box is working ok but only if the sim is in the JAF style P-KEY. Again the sim reader in the z3x box does not work. I have tried driver after driver, formated the pc's (3) changed the box. The new one works with the sim in a separte reader. I rest my case.
