Does it get signal? I did it and it goes through, but no signal. Still says sim card not accepted.

I believe he was having the same issue as well. Looks like 5.0 goes through based on logs but 4.4.2 doesn't. Try updating it, it will most likely work

yes 5.0 goes well if still no signal do the hidden menu if still get no service 100 percent bad imei

Select the top option[1]
It will say "success"
Reboot via the phones power menu and voice and sms should be working. You may have to go into settings>network settings>Network Operators>and select either manual or automatic, either is fine.

Any idea why it doesn't get signal with t-mobile, but does with att?

Have you checked the imei? Most likely it has to do with the imei if not then maybe the sim card. Should be compatible for all

imei is clean on checkesnfree.com

but when i put a tmobile sim inside, it will not register. The phone is going overseas, so it's not a big deal. just wanted to be sure make sure for next customer.

Try swappa I like that one better. Also it should work, most likely it had to do with the sim card then. Next time you get one you should have no issues

If it has "Outstanding balance imei" then it will only work on AT&T and not T-Mobile.
