Hello, besides the problem of security damaged if you have already written the data NV file, there is also the problem is also the latest firmware of Android 7 with the security patch of January 2018, does not write the IMEI and the patch cert or write certificate, you should try to do the downgrade of firmware Android 7 's are at an older security patch level ever since the revision binary 6 that you have installed on your phone allows you to downgrade to the Android 7 version with security patch level with revision binary 6

And which version do you recommend that I downgrade to, given the current version on the phone?

The problem is that having the binary 6 firmware that you have installed in the phone there is no 'possibility to downgrade because all versions of android 7 with older security patches have the binary 5 and does not allow you to downgrade of the firmware on the model g920t if you go to see on sammobile the firmware versions of android 7 with older security patch level have the binary 5 you could try to install a firmware combination to downgrade to the android version 7 with binary 5 but it is risky and it can damage the phone unfortunately with the latest updates samsung has closed the ability to write the certificate for that even writing the nv file and then trying to write the certificate or using the patch cert is not successful

So then why would you tell me to downgrade if downgrading is not possible??

To write the certificate you have no alternative you need to downgrade even for the issue of writing the file nv data having samsung closed the possibility of this operation in the security of the latest security patches I wrote you in the first post to downgrade if there were firmware with binary 6 having a sammobile guard on there is only the binary 5 for downgrading you can try to install a firmware combination and flash in 4 files of the stock firmware with older security patches but it is risky otherwise you have to wait that the z3x team comes up with an update for the new security for writing the cert and the patch cert

I don't think you have any idea what you're talking about.

NV Data and cert write function perfectly fine on binary 6. My original post was to show that after writing the nv data file that was posted by someone earlier, there is now a new error that I'm trying to fix
