I get this Security Damaged or Incorrect Key while trying to write cert and even when I tried to read the original cert. I successfully backed up the original EFS, but No original cert cuz I get this error.

Is there a way to get around this to write a new cert? I will appreciate your input and insights on this matter. Thanks!

I see now. I managed to write a new cert as well but after flashing the whole 5.1.1 firmware, I got the same old original IMEI.

Thanks for confirming!!!!

So updating to the new DOI1 firmware will change the imei back to the original?

If you have repaired IMEI before, updating won't change anything.

That scenario I mentioned only when you try to flash the whole firmware 5.1.1 DOI1 after writing a cert just to avoid issues. The new update has fixed security damaged error though.
