G925T Stuck logo after write another EFS - GSM-Forum

Hi i want to explain my problem...

I have g925T 5.1.1 that i tried to root with g925t autoroot ... it failed and phone was stucking at Samsung logo, i did an firmware update with SmartSwitch and it worked but IMEI was gone to 3560000000 i tried to unlock with Z3X but got security error.... i've searched how to solve this problem and in another post a user said that it need to write another good EFS , so i DID with his EFS file but still same problem and SN have changed and i didnt make efs backup .... I tried again to update the device with SMARTSWITCH and now it STUCK ON SAMSUNG LOGO forever even with flash stock firmware even with put old or new SERIAL on smart it always stuck .... Can someone tell me how i can revive this S6edge please ?

Find another s6edge and read EFS.. try to write that efs.

Forget about other phone EFS for 5.1.1 phones. there are root key which is unique for each phone.

Hum this mean phone is dead ... and can't return it to samsung service center cauz knox security is screwed after root ...

That is Right. If u have a original efs then u can do something. But depend how u bkup ur efs. Or try flash with other rom so ur phone gonna be dead no power in this case u can change ur phone from samsung center becs they cant see that knox warranty is trip

I would recommend you next time try to back up your EFS and IMEI Cert ... so you can recover it in cases like this ... I would also recommend you that you try to flash your odin firmware for your device ... flash the AP and Bootloader ... I believe their is a thread about this somewhere in here or you can look at xda and you will find it ... If you are not clearly about what you are doing try backing up EFS and IMEI cert since you are able to before anything else ...

Dont worry my friend, easy to solve, here is the required steps:

1.- flash stock firmware 5.1.1 through odin
2.-make hard reset
3.-flash this kernel: S6-UniBase_BOG8_v2.tar
4.- After this step phone will boot up but will have imei null or generic
5.-write efs backup, does not matter if is from another phone
6.-Now make direct unlock with z3x
7.-write cert and you are done

*After this process you will have drk problems because you don´t have original efs backup, i mean you cann´t make stock restore or update because you will brick it again
*i have solved imei null with this process
*this info is tested by me

Try everything that has been suggested and if you still are not able to get it going...

I dont have this kind of problem. Beacuse we dont have this model. But if i have this kind of problem i will contact to u for sure. But thanks Dear

hello , this problem can fixed very easy.
just flash phone with 4 files .
if not boot write unikernel v8-002.
or write twrp.
it will work
i fixed mine.
