Check if you have sim in your phone, you have to take it out. And try this step if you still have that error, press *#0808#, and choose RNDIS+ACM+DM+ADB, and run the process again.

I had the same problem when try to write cert to g920t. My problem was solved when I try above steps.

maybe something is wrong with your phone, or you model is not supported. usually when I'm having problems with a phone I would wipe it and flash the firmware again, just to make sure something is not wrong with my firmware or the phone it self. if after doing all of that you're still having problem maybe you might want to try an other tool like GCPro Key or the new Octopus update.
