That means there will not be an unlock option for tmobile. they still havent figure out how to unlock any qualcomm device with unlock app. Yep here is the link showing they are going back to qualcomm: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-25072 And they will ship with 6.0.1. That means we will be able to do att phone unlocks without root but not tmobile because of the unlock app. |

Member: 2532914 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1,154 | I just did some further research and as I thought it was rumored that att and tmobile s7 would be exynos but it looks like they changed it up. if he is unlocking an att s7 using n910a and without root it is surely a qualcomm device |

Member: 2532914 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1,154 | that means only IMEI repair for tmobile s7 and no unlock possible. Which suck5 because you get a lot more customers for tmobile because no code guy competition but with att you can get unlock codes dirt cheap. and no CERT READ either |

Member: 2532914 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1,154 | we can just hope that the international versions are using exynos and have same key ID. on the bright side if you have an att or tmobile cert for s7 it will probably work on sprint and verizon as well like the good old days. |

Member: 1744748 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 752 | In my neck of woods they will have Exynos... as long as certs are readable (first assumption), given the keyid is the same (second assumption), rootable (quiet possible but third assumption), and able to write certs (fourth assumption), can provide certs or read them but there is a lot of ambiguity with all this... |
