G950U Straight Talk unlock - GSM-Forum

Straight Talk is starting to get more popular, so someone has to ask this question. How do we unlock the s8 G950U and s8+ G955U for straight talk?

The phone does not ask for unlock code, and I ran Sprint unlock with no luck.

on the Striaght Talk s7 variant G930VL you simply flashed the Verizon firmware to the phone and the phone was unlocked, no z3x intervention needed. The s8 is different. Tried flashing verizon branded firmware to phone still locked. Tried flashing eng boot file to phone, it accepted it of course, ran unlock under sprint s7 and no luck, phone remains locked.

Anyone have solution?
