just downgrade modem.bin then use unlock after unlock reflash with latest firmware

That would be fantastic if true. But I need to see logs of this working. As it is on Oreo fw and z3x hasn't supported it officially yet. What I am worried about is getting bricked or stuck on upload mode when no way to reboot.

Did you try and or does it fail to? I really doubt it works
