G960u AT&T not reading codes


i tried with combo also always stops at.... reading data from phone any help ?

Blang is right, the new usb-c protocol is really finicky, need to use high quality cable and the latest drivers. Also try to connect directly to the computer, instead of a usb hub.

ok so i tried all this drivers plus others and none worked also tried other pc same result reading data from phone..... waited 5-10 mins nothing tried 2 new original from s9 box cables btw using latest drivers from samsung website 1.5.56

When then phone goes into ramdump mode and you see the message "waiting for diag/cp/ramdump mode", just un-plug and re-plug the phone to see if that helps. I have to do it every time I do an unlock.

i think i fix the problem. try this steps...

1- install the latest drivers from samsung 1.5.65.0
2- try another cable and computer
3- dial *#0808# and select RMNET + DM + MODEM
4- enable usb debugging from developer options.

Interestingly on some systems even if you have done those steps when the phone goes into ramdump mode, the device manager displays the modem port with a yellow triangle, but once you un-plug and re-plug the cable everything continues smoothly. It's a really weird issue but at least the workaround is a simple un-plug, re-plug... lol
