Galaxy Edge G928P write cert problem... - GSM-Forum

Hey peeps, im calling the experts on this one since i ran out of ideas. Been working for a couple days with this G928P from sprint. Paid 40 dollars for a cert , but i havent been able to write it to the phone correctly. Z3x always gives me the dreaded (0) error. I have tried almost everything, im starting to think the cert is what is wrong. Ok so, even with the error (0), it will write and change the IMEI number. But when i reboot the phone and dial *#0011# the cert shows Fail (2). Just in case, i have the combination file, the sboot, a few firmwares, every single thing to work with it. I even tried to change the MEID which is why i think the cert shows fail but i learned from the guys from CDMA TOOL that it doesnt support that version. Any help asap will be apreciated. Thanks a lot guys

if you have solution then post public, what the reason for forum if you hide solution?

Most likely the error is happening because the phone has been rooted before and it has tripped knox. You need the factory binary firmware to write cert

Combination file should work.. but if error still persists you need focus on knox..closecoder is right.. when ever knox tripped it messes with sec.. i have read it here in forum.. dont remember in which post.. try to consult with yasir or faisal.. they have bern active in samsung section more than any one..If they helped you dont forget to post here for others..
