as far as i know "sda" is linux based partition. i dont know if it will work with adb :/

Android is based off of Linux. As is iOS. I don't see how a partition name change complicates anything (other than not being able to copy+paste adb commands made for previous Android versions/devices). If a partition changed, then change the script to accomodate the variation.
