Hi. I have successfully removed the EE lock on G850F. First write an unbranded firmware prefferably not from UK, then install twrp recovery to the device, then download the file ecs87 provided : G850Funlock

Boot in recovery mode, open up a cmd prompt, cd where you unzipped the archive then do:

Code:

adb push PERSDATA /sdcard/

then

Code:

dd if=/sdcard/PERSDATA of=/sdcard/PERSDATA of=/dev/block/platform/15540000.dwmmc0/by-name/PERSDATA

wipe data, wipe cache, reboot to download mode, write firmware again, do a wipe again and lock should be gone. It worked for me.

All credits go to ecs87 and whoever else actually contributed to this solution.

Thanks to you for trying it out. I doubt anyone went through the steps like you did. I've told users that they have to do ALL the steps of flashing a firmware and wiping cache/data. I don't think that you have to use an unbranded firmware, but don't quote me on that. To be on the safe side, I'd follow the steps provided by v3ng3ance.

can anyone help for galaxy S6
i have a set in hand
customer came for installing apps when i connect to wifi suddenly moblie show the ms (this phone is disabled by ee ...) Now customer want a fresh set from me or open this code
i m so afraid plz help me plz plz plz thanks in advance

i think someone is trying it on with you. i bet they would of known that once you tried to install apps that program comes on. thats why they have asked you to install the apps for them.

i might be wrong but you have do a hard reset the screen will go, but it comes back once you connect to the google play store.

i might be wrong tho

after put the phone in to recovery mode no adb in device manager

Only MTP Device..So how to bring the adb bro

If no adb then Can not run any command

Please advice me

To those of you having problems with G850F,use this recovery: Download openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.1-slte.tar | DevFiles.co - Free file hosting for Android devs!

Just boot in recovery mode and adb is already available (check twrp website) .If only MTP is shown in device manager check for an unindentified device called "Android" or something like that and install the proper adb drivers for samsung, I do no know which ones I have because I use so many samsung tools. You can try the PdaNet adb drivers, they work for samsung and other devices. If device is still offline try to use the latest ADB.
Also, I tested on win7 32bit.

Please follow the steps, the solution works 100%.
