1. download and flash a combination

2. download galaxy apps apk and install it via adb

3. connect to wifi on combination, make sure date and time is set to automatic.

4. click on the newly installed galaxy apps icon and sign into a pre existing samsung account.

5. put the phone in download mode and flash back stock.

6. extract the modem from the combination file you just flashed.

once your phone is at welcome screen, put the phone back in download mode and flash the MODEM you extracted from the combination.

7. once it flashes and its back and welcome screen, connect to wifi and go through setup.

8. then it will ask for samsung account. sign into the one you used on the combination.

9. once your at home screen go to settings and do a factory reset.

10. now flash back stock MODEM and go through setup wizard and it will not ask for samsung account.

I tried this method with S5, SM-G900V. The only thing was I had to add NON-HLOS.bin to the combination file modem tar to get it to flash. Once I did I was able to go through the setup and was not asked for Samsung Login at all. I checked the Security tab and was thrilled to see that the Reactivation flag was not checked. Even after a factory reset everything looked good. I then went into Download Mode and Reactivation lock was still on even though there was no Samsung Account on the phone, but the phone was completely usable. I then tried to upgrade firmware and sadly the Reactivation Lock flag in Security was on again even though the phone was completely usable. So, yes it works from the usability perspective, but just can't fully remove the Reactivation Lock security.

Step #10 you must flash back to stock modem or flash full stock firmware

1. Flashed combination file
2. ADB installed galaxy apps
3. Signed in my samsung account in galaxy apps
4. Flashed N910VVRU2BOG5
5. Tried signing in to account which did not work so i used OTG method to get to browser
6. Typed in My Knox and clicked on playstore link
7. Signed in to my gmail account
8. Downloaded My Knox, set everything up, then you go to Knox Settings
9. Added my samsung account
10. Went to recovery and did a factory reset
11. Flashed N910VVRU2BPA1
12. It let me sign in with my samsung account and went to settings, security and unchecked reactivation lock
13. Typed in my password and the checkmark remained unchecked. Download mode confirmed it is off
I was able to remove it per your instructions. what allowed it to be removed was the 5.1.1 firmware. In the 5.0.1 firmware it would not let me remove it. although I didn't try, I believe it would have been removed by simply flashing the new firmware without hard resetting the phone. I did hit the thank button. you rock!

just flash entire combo file. install samsung apk via adb command then add samsung account and then flash stock rom back and when it asks for samsung info just put in info you used while combo file was on phone.

make sure when you flash stock rom back to flash a 5.1.1 rom or lower. if you flash 6.0.1 rom it will says processing error when you try to log into samsung account
