The main issue with S4 that i am getting is that if the S4 is running 4.2.2 we are not able to access service menu through *#7284#. THis is the main issue for all S4 series (i337m, i337, i9505).

Please if anyone know of an update for the dongles or an easier method Please let me know.

I have tried Various of types of dongles none of them were able to assist me through this problem.

yo tambien tenia el mismo problema

para acceder a la forma de conexión marcamos *#0808# y seleccionamos la ultima opcion
luego *#9090# y seleccionamos la opcion uart y se reiniciara conectamos en telefono por usb instalamos los drivers y seleccionamos en la conexión samsung mobile usb serial port le damos click en repair y escribimos nuestro imei identico y seleccionamos repair efs y repair network

Yes NEED TO ROOT ! cannot Flash ! After root and enable USB Debug mode from Hidden Developer mode -> you can unlock it with Z3X - just made this today and unlocked it !
But after unlock handset imei gone to 00/0 so i repair it with another box because with Z3X tried 3 times and imei remain same 00/0 ...
Well after all i unlocked my i337

Choise i337
Press imei repair, choise repar EFS/Baseband, fill imei and choise imei.
After sw SAY done. power off/ on phone.

Phone will be unlocked.

master you forget said that need choise repair network too, if yo don´t used repair network don´t get signal the phone
