I don't think it's possible not even with SPT...L720 even after unlocking for International use u still need to manually reprogram it to use it Domestically(tmobile att)...

yes you still have to manually edit the phone just like the l720 which you can do on that phone... goto activate device and when it fails hit menu and on pst and there you go. but you need to be on 4.3 modem to do so.

...I don't know why people keep thinking Sprint phones are the same as GSM phones. They're CDMA. They have the HARDWARE CAPABILITY to work on GSM, but they're software locked. I assume it's because nearly all other variants have GSM radios. It wouldnt make sense to make a completely differently layout for the Sprint variants so it's locked at the software level. How? Internationally it's locked over nv item 10124. Well, why can't you just write to it? Because it's read and write locked. And unlike GSM phones (remember...this is a CDMA phone!!!) The security on it is NOT altered by clearing the EFS like it is on the IMEI. So, how do you alter it? You need access to /nvm/num via QPST EFS explorer (or you need to know the exact subsystem hex commands to send to it; QC DM commands). We havent been able to do either of these since 4.2.2 which is why we need the MDC modem for the L720 unlock. It's one of the last L720 modems that allowed access to /nvm/num after sending the 16 character password.

Decent answer? ;-)
