I have a sm-n910r4 (samsung galaxy note 4 us cellular) and have been trying to unlock with the z3x box.
I have been referred here by a Professional of the z3x forum.(Ni****h)

Here are my current results when trying to unlock.

Reading phone info...
Reading IMEI... OK
IMEI: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reading security... new type
Bypassing... error

Done with Samsung Tool PRO v.21.8

I can only get to this step using a c330k cable, taking out the battery and then plugging in cable and then re-inserting battery.

This is the only way I can get the hidden menus to appear at all.

I have since then tried to update to 5.0.1 which i am currently running with same results as above( I first started trying to unlock running 4.4.4)

Here are the instructions given
UNLOCK INSTRUCTIONS:
Micro-USB cable:
1. Phone must be powered on.
2. Type *#0808# and select 'DM+MODEM+ADB'.
3. Type *#9090# and choose 'DM/DUN over HSIC'.
4. Reboot phone.
Or use 'Activate Diag' function from 'Repair' tab.
5. Connect USB cable, install drivers if needed.
6. Select Samsung diagnostic port in port settings.
7. Press 'Unlock' button for direct unlock.

I can follow along until i get to step 6. what does it mean select samsung diagnostic port in port settings. If i remove diag cable and insert micro usb, i get two more ports in the drop down menu but niether of them will read in z3x. I get phone not found error.

If i use the c330k cable, i get the above results.

And the problem of reception repair can not find network
After repair network you get NULL

I9500 new security CAN NOT repair imei, only write cert (like G900, N900, etc).
