help: USA firmwares for s8 and +, s9 and [Answered]


Hello... I need to know if it is possible to flash T-Mobile firmware on a AT&T device for g950u... The idea is to know if firmwares are interchangeables for all g950u???


In that case... if the same for g950u1, g955u and u1, g960u and u1???

You're better off flashing the unbranded "U1" firmware which auto-configures itself based on the sim card inserted. Works better and smoother than the carrier branded versions.

Thanks Mr BillA... you say I can flash, for example, a TMB G950U with any G950U1 firmware??? The same for an ATT G950U ??? This last device have locked bootloader...

Yes, it works fine even with locked bootloader, the only thing you have to match is the firmware revision (4th digit from the right), and use the patched Odin (below).
Out of habbit I also select the PIT file which can be extracted from the CSC (non-home file) and under Options select Erase Nand. It works great, totally unbranded which opens up the Verizon/Sprint bands too if it's an unlocked gsm.
