You're better off flashing the unbranded "U1" firmware which auto-configures itself based on the sim card inserted. Works better and smoother than the carrier branded versions.  | |

Yes, it works fine even with locked bootloader, the only thing you have to match is the firmware revision (4th digit from the right), and use the patched Odin (below). Out of habbit I also select the PIT file which can be extracted from the CSC (non-home file) and under Options select Erase Nand. It works great, totally unbranded which opens up the Verizon/Sprint bands too if it's an unlocked gsm.
