how to flash GT-S5220 - GSM-Forum

Code:

Selected model: S5220
Selected com port: COM9
Selected speed port: 921600
Phone must be OFF
Press * and connect phone by USB cable
Connecting to Device... OK

there is no * button in s5220
press volume + home + power to put on download mode and connect
then it just stuck at "Connecting to Device... OK"
please advise.

COM connection
Select "COM" connection type;
Press "Connect" button;
Connect phone to box with Samsung Micro UART cable;
Reconnect battery;
Press and hold power button.
USB connection
Select "USB" connection type;
Press "Connect" button;
Disconnect battery;
Connect phone with Micro USB cable directly to motherboard USB port.

thanks for your reply. after flash the phone hangs on "GT - S5220". how to revive?

The problem I got with this is that the firmware has no ringtones

hii mans... flashing s5220 wit z3x is so stupid

sellect s5220 in z3x, without battery, hold the middle button (home button) and insert the usb. If you have drivers installed phone will do the flash without problems.
