Member: 2485949 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | How many times do people need to be told that you cannot root newer version of at&T phones. The bootloaders are LOCKED. so you cant gain root via custom recovery or kernel methods. The only reason ping pong worked on lower versions is because it exploited the existing kernel without having to flash anything. Samsung cleaned that security gap up a long time ago. To be exact, any kernel dated after may 15, 2015 the ping pong exploit will not work. Last edited by lyonel; 12-05-2015 at 08:11. |
