Downgrade to Samsung Tool 16.2 and it will work.

steps :

1- root phone

2- use c3303 cable

3- repair ime : click repair entre your imie.

phone rooted and using usb cable

and trying with uart but not connecting........

Try with fw 2.3.6 need root repair efs after imei

use samsung tool lower version last day im succses use samsung version 15.2 or 12.1

try uart cable also select uart setting
then post screenshot

uart se kiyato connect nahi horaha................

process :You need to swith UART and USB settings:
enter UART mode with *#9090# and select "Log via UART"
then
enter *#7284# and select "UART MODEM" and select "USB PDA

is procesegarme kiya............

Hey mate i was facing same problem than you, but i could find solution, that is samsungtool version 16.8 is not good for i9100, i just installed version 15.0 and that is it.. Done..
