How to unlock the i747 with z3x ?

is possible to unlock the north america version of the i9300 galaxy s3 i747 with z3x ?

Nope not yet.

Apparently the T999 could be unlocked as T989 though via Z3x (make sure the phone is rooted)

i am also looking to unlock i747

no solution for I747m with Z3X

LITTLE MASTER

i747m confirm unlock with z3x 12.6

this is what i did:

Code:

1. Connect phoen to PC powered via USB and enter MTP mode (Media Transfer)

2. Copy 'SuperUser.zip' to the root of Internal Storage

3. Power off phone and go into Download Mode (Volume Down + Home + Power -- Then press Volume Up to continue)

4. Open Odin 1.85+

5. Add 'RecoveryGalaxyS3USCanada.tar' into PDA and flash

6. As soon as flash finishes - remove battery

7. Reinsert battery and enter recovery mode (Volume Up + Home + Power -- Only hold power for around 3 seconds)

8. Once in recovery, select 'install zip from sdcard' then 'choose zip from internal sdcard'

9. Next select 'SuperUser.zip' and confirm

10. Once you get 'Install from sdcard complete' go back and reboot and root should be complete.

11. once restarted - do a full reset (*2767*3855#)

12. *#7284# - select modem

13. *#9090# - select USB and reboot phone

14. Make sure device is in USB Debugging mode and connect with C3300k cable directly to z3x.

15. open Samsung Tool 12.6 and select T989 as model and select COM for box and press unlock.

you can skip rooting for phones unlock over qc mode.
rooting for unlocking is useless all this phones.

basic info for all.
I727,I727M,T989,T989D,T999,I747,I747M,T769 many other etc unlock in qualcomm mode.
if modem is set on uart use uart cable for unlocking & repairing.
if modem is set to usb use usb cable for unlocking & repairing.

use this two codes to set need port setting.
*#7284#
*#9090#

some phone like I747M have switching blocked(can't select),so people can use (*2767*3855#) to full reset phone then you can set it.

i rooted and it went straight through.

I feel what austin has said is correct, rooting is not necessary. Since the moment you perform a factory reset, using the above command root is lost. You were still able to unlock your phone, this implies that the root is not required. I welcome to be corrected.

Connect phone with UART , and click unlock .
