Why a N900P cert? If you're getting cert fail after repairing the MEID to flash to CDMA, reset the EFS and use a Super IMEI. If you're trying to unlock it you're going the wrong path. The NV item that unlocks the phone does not get tampered with after a efs reset. It's an nv item that appears to be unwritable and unreadable unless you have access to the nvm folder in EFS explorer.

@ ecs, where exactly do you find this "Unreadable/Unwritable nv item" via efs explorer? I'd like to look at it.

Also to OP, z3x doesn't support reading certs from qualcomm devices such as N900P.

If you have a L720 in your hands you can easily see what I'm talking about. Take a L720 on a 4.4.2 baseband (such as NAE). Connect it to the computer over DIAG and find a way to send the SPC and 16 char password. Load QPST and use EFS explorer. Notice how the NVM folder is locked? That's how it is on any phone on 4.3 and newer basebands. NOW take the L720 MDC baseband (4.2.2) and load it through Odin. Do the same steps with the SPC, password, and EFS explorer. Notice how the nvm folder is NOW readable (and therefore writable)? You're SUPPOSED to be able to see the folder after sending the password (if you tried to access it in EFS explorer on MDC without sending the 16 char password it'll still be locked ;-)).

Well on the G900P and N900P there isn't a 4.2.2 modem to downgrade to like the L720. So...the first question should be how do we unlock this folder?

The nv item I'm talking about is 10124. It's unreadable and unwritable by DFS and CDMA workshop. The only thing that had been able to write to it has been EFS explorer and...we can't access nvm folder on the G900P and N900P; therefore we're kinda stuck.

You sir have your terminology all mixed up. You must be confusing cert with IMEI or ESN. TOTALLY different things. You must have a bad ESN. Sprint will NOT clear this. Sprint also will NOT unlock your phone with a bad ESN. Also if you indeed do have a broken IMEI cert, Sprint won't be able to help you either. If you've got a bad ESN you'll need to use a Super IMEI before repairing the ESN OR using a note 3 exynos cert after repairing the ESN (not to forget to mention you'll also need the 32 character hex HDR AN/Profile 0 AAA password for that ESN. The phone won't get LTE upon being repaired because you won't be able to match the ICCID with the ESN. You WILL get CDMA EVDO REV A (3G) though if you did it properly.

The CERT shouldn't fail if you're using a super IMEI. Are you SURE you're using a super IMEI and not a IMEI+cert? They're completely different things.

Yes, use only super imei or only wr cert by z3x imei certi fail. btw, at first phone still has original imei (press *#06#) + imei cert fail (I wipe efs then MEID become B000000).

Wipe the EFS. Write a cert using z3x. Write a MEID using DFS to match the IMEI. Win.

Yes. I mentioned what tool you need to write the MEID with above. You're also going to need the SPC and new Sprint 16 character password.
