i317m only connects to rogers - GSM-Forum

Hi I have a couple note2 from canada on 4.3 after doing the unlock. the imei went to 0 but i was able to repair it. After that the phone now only connects to the rogers network. When you put another sim card like bell all it says is ext.

What i have done so far is restored the qcn file but no luck it dose now show the carriers names but i am still unable to connect. any suggestions would be awsome ty

try reflash phone to non branded firmware.
may be problem there.

I have 5 phones with the same issue... tried all firmwares don't work plz help

Repair the nvm or use another nvm from other note2 phone I mean working phone. ur phone gonna be ok tested by me

I have tried this and it would not work.... used a few different backup nv's from a working note 2 and it still would not work...

I even downgraded the modem to 4.1.2 modem and used nvitems and then restores the modem on 4.3 and still nothing

Already tried that too with z3x new security....

final solution but you need to write efs again after root the phone

4.3 w/ knox security unlock done easy and safe
Requirements: internet connection.

use 5310 usb cable
turn on usb debugging 1st
dial *#7284# choose MTP+ADB only

download kingoroot:
Root Android phone, flash custom ROM and manage your Android devices, Rooting Freeware Download - Kingo

after root go to PLAYSTORE then download Super SU by chainfire then Open Super SU
the message will pop up KNOX SECURITY" Choose DISABLE

now you can repair imei soft & smooth.

However, I have tried all these steps... anyhow I will retry everything and report back. I have spent too much time on this issue and there is no fix
