i5500 wont unlock

Hi,

I'm trying to unlock a Samsung i5500 but it fails when trying to read the security, heres my log...

It doesn't show an IMEI, don't know if this makes a difference, if I *#06# on the phone it does display the IMEI.

I have been told it's quite new and hasn't had anything done to it.

I tried rooting with another program first aswell to see if it made a difference but still doing same.

I was going to use the BML5 method to unlock found here xda-developers - View Single Post - Unlock your Samsung i5500 (Where is my /efs?) [UPDATE] but I'd rather use Z3X.

Also does Z3x unlock it in a different way to the BML5 method?
