i8730 error unlocking - GSM-Forum

I try to unlock samsung i8730 but no luck , check logs. Firmware 4.1.2 . Where is the problem.

try direct unlock.
try to root phone if this is mentioned in unlocking instructions

When i press *#7284# i only have menu UART MODEM and PDA , PDA IS SELECTED.

There is no reference to root, direct unlock or read codes not working.

ok, but not option

8. Go to "Qualcomm USB Settings".
9. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".

direct unlock will not work you have to downgrade from 3.2.221011 to 3.2.221006
