1st Download i897 Patch from Support.
2nd Flash Your Phone With Patch File In Download Mode And select Model i897.
3rd 3.1. Power on phone.
3.2. Enable debugging on: menu>application settings>development..
3.3. Connect cables and setup drivers.
3.4. Press Unlock SP button.
4th Insert non accepted Sim card And Put Code.
5th Download This File and Flasher and Flash Your Phone.
Now You Phone Is Unlocked For All Sim Card.
Note: Do All This By Your Risk Z3X And Rahul-Sharma not responsible for anything.

Hello Sr. @Rahul-sharma, I received a Samsung I896:

PDA: I896UXJI2
PHONE: I9000XXJPK
CSC: I896RWCJI2

It’s locked to Rogers, But I don’t know if it is tested or no on this frirmware version.

Could I unlock it by the method mentioned above ??? If yes, Do I have to flash it at the step 5 by Odin software or by Z3X Samsung 3G Tool ???

Bro This Firmware Is Tested By Me So You Can Flash Your Set This is android 2.1 Rogers Firmware.

no need to patch modem just google this SuperOneClickv1.7-ShortFuse then root your phone and then read your code and you will never encounter mic and earpiece problem

someone already tried to unlock phone using patch file now baseband ,, Imei is Null/Null

I want flash this phone to recover please help me ,,, shpuld i flash it with i897 or i896 as the phone is i896 ,, even kies doesnt recognise it ..

Also I tried unlocking using i896 and direct unlock it is refusing to unlock as rooting is failing ,, and if i root with super user than it works but gives me invalid codes as there is no Imei ,, this android ver 2.2
