I9001 "enter pasword for unlock" - GSM-Forum

How can I reset this?
If I try to unlock, everything is ok, but Password for unlock needed probably security/user code ).
I can enter in download mode , i can flash the phone but still the same.
How can I reset this password?
I can't enter in boot mode to wipe/reset the device, always going into RAMDUMP MODE.
Any advice?

probably this method it's working on other models, not in this one ( already tried before )

Hard Reset for i9001 if going into RAMDUMP MODE :

1. HOLD Vol up+ Vol down and Power
2. Release Power after 3 second Samsung logo appear
3. When Android logo apear press Settings button ( left button near Home )
4. You would be presented with the options like Fastbook, Recovery, Simlock and clear storage and now release Up + Down buttons
5. Select Wipe and if password ask type 5 times wrong password and the device will wipe.

Thanks for answer but no luck, it is going into download mode only...

try to make emergency call with..take the batterie out..try the proces volume up+home+on...or others up+down...

just flash it with odin galaxy i9xxx series phone locks can only b unlocked by flashing it no other method work so flash it simply rather than searching any other solution

This Solution Worked perfectly in Samsung i90001.
