please check the phone recovery if it says mmc mount failed in red letters?
i received a phone with same problem I9001 and found that it was a hardware fault due to the SD CARD was unable to mount at startup so was restarting at Samsung Logo,
the other reason could be the damaged baseband
please give info from the Recovery

Thanks and regards

Maybe this one can help

= download Check Fus Downloader 2.1
= run & choose ANDROID/i9003
= choose what REGION you want to download
= then click CHECK Firmware & click DOWNLOAD
= wait to FINISH Download
= extract compressed file [ zip/rar ]
= flash the phone thru ODIN

i'm sure that you have a damaged emmc ....can't mount or format and this stop your phone to boot .... the only solution is to flash a custom kernel like ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.6
http://www.multiupload.com/W2XK4IOWSP
Open Odin
Choose "GT-I9003_CWM_5.0.2.6.tar" as PDA
Boot your Device into Download Mode (Vol Down + Home + Power)
Connect your Device via USB
Hit "Start" Button

Flash the phone with a modded firmware from sdcard ....but the internal memory will not work ......

https://rapidshare.com/#!download|46...AD680163C6|0|0
Reboot into Recovery
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery

many time i9003 restart problem hardware

Strange. My phone start with this CM7 flash file, but internal memory is... 1.5 GB instead of 4GB.
CPU is warm, but phone is working. I can mount in recovery EMMC and uSD. Have no idea what is wrong with this phone.
