i9100 imei change error..ver 4.1.2 - GSM-Forum

this cell was all ok just tried to chage imei..but after repair imei procedure this cell show wrong imei 004999010640000 not the one which i feed

kindly assit

Downgrade phone to 4.1.1 or even ICS. I cannot change IMEI on any samsung phone running 4.1.2 or higher. Switch to 4.1.1 or lower and it works. Also make sure it does not have a custom rom as that also causes problems.

is it possible coz same model i downgrade 6 month back after which cell keep on restarting

downgrade on Odin flash tool.
z3x can repair or change imei firmware version 2.3.6
then u can update on any new firmware
