Requirements:

• ODIN Multi-flasher tool installed.
• XWKDD_insecure kernel.
• SuperOneClick tool.
• ADB installed on your computer. See our guide on what is ADB and how to install it.
• Samsung USB drivers installed. Download USB drivers for 32 bit Windows | 64 bit Windows.

Instructions:

1. To begin, you need to put your phone in download mode. Do so by pressing Volume Down + Home + Power.
2. Now connect your phone to the pc via the USB cable and run ODIN and make sure Repartition is unchecked.
3. Click on the PDA tab in ODIN and navigate to the location of XWKDD_insecure kernel.tar and select it.
4. Once selected press the Start button and the kernel will be flashed in a few seconds.
5. After flashing the kernel, the phone will reboot with the new insecure kernel installed.
6. Once it reboots, run the SuperOneClick tool and hit the Root button.
