i9300 - imei update, then sn 0000000000

Hello z3x team, i have this situation :

I have a i9300 with a new eMMC, swapped from a working phone.
Now this phone had imei 0049.. etc etc..
All other data was ok, so :

1. I have dumped / saved EFS through z3x box (Samsung tool)
2. I have repaired imei , by following the procedure and using C3300K

Now i have the correct IMEI, but sn show 0000000000. I haven't selected sn repair, but he changed the sn.
So tried again, repaired IMEI but this time i have checked sn repair and wrote my original sn (11 chars, but i was able to insert only 10 chars).

After that, still sn 0000000000

To be sure that the phone was not f****d up, i re-wrote the previous EFS dump into the phone, now it show the correct serial but the wrong imei.

If i write the imei again, i lose the SN.

So.. what's the deal ? i can use the phone without the SN, or there is a solution for that ??
There is a way to merge the SN from the EFS backup, and use the new Imei i wrote into the phone ??

Thanks for your help.

If the phone hasn't been upgraded to EFS V2 (MG4/MG5) then you can use Ariza Patch to get network service even with serial 00000

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1918601

This is a good workaround until z3x fix the serial writing to i9300 - tested & working - I used it the other day!

Thank you for your answers but my problem is different.

I can already use the phone, i can call and receive calls, after repairing IMEI with z3x box, without need of this patch.

The only problem is that i don't have a serial number, this is only a matter if the phone will be sold to anyone.

As i have understood, Z3X actually doesn't support Serial repair :-(
They should remove this option from my opinion, because they generate only confusion.
