UNLOCK INSTRUCTIONS:

Micro-USB cable:
1. Phone must be powered on.
2. Type *#0808# and select 'DM+MODEM+ADB'.
3. Type *#9090# and choose USB (or 'DM/DUN over HSIC').
4. Reboot phone.
5. Connect USB cable, install drivers if needed.
6. Select Samsung diagnostic port in port settings.
7. Press 'Unlock' button for direct unlock.

Selected port: COM19 SAMSUNG Mobile USB Serial Port ,
Software version: 20.5

i downgraded to 4.42 version, this is working,

1. enable adb
2. choose model g900f and tick act diag
3. after go *#0808# and select dm+modem+adb
4. now you PC can detect phone i9505

i have same problem but i cant down grade as computer does not pick up phone even doing the *#0808# how do i downgrade when computer is been like this ?

I have the correct cable i used it unlocked a mini s4 no probs and s3 no probs. this i9505 phone. my computer wont pick it up i then try 3 other cable still no luck i try a laptop no luck.

it charges up ok so I cant root it I cant unlock it. i have it in debug moded i have done the *#0808# and select dm+modem+adb computer never picket it up no the laptops try 3 laptop 3 lead. so also i try odin to downgrade cant any ideas as will be using a hammer on phone tomorrow night been at this since got out bed this morning now coming to the next day please help

reporting back. just had an other person with same phone and it unlocked fine. so I think its the usb port on that other person phone as wont pick up on laptops either. thanks for infor and help

Update firmware 5.0.1 and to do root with kingo root. Enter in recovery more and enable cp loggings. In z3x select port diag. Today 2 phones tested. Good luck for all.
