New method IMEI and network repair done on i9505....Real direct solution. No need for root, 2 seconds operation.

Use c3300k UART cable
*#7284# Set UART to MODEM
*#9090# Set DM over UART (Phone will reboot)

Press "repair button", fill the IMEI.

Make sure u have i9505 not i9500.....also flash different fw, some firmwares have those options disabled. Above solution is tested by me on two phones without any problems.

what firmware do you have on your s4? i had some s4s which didn't accept those codes.
or could you please tell me firmware version that accepts all these necesary codes?

I am uk based, so i am using i9505XXUAMDM with BTU csc. All the options work.
