i9505 version 20 unlock backup info

So i have a i9505 i want to unlock with the new Z3X pro SW, but i want to be sure not to make any problems with the unlock.

I want to create a backup of EFS and QCN, but to do this i must root the phone, when rooting the phone though im sure this causes issues with knox and possibly other issues too, am i better of not backing up the phone and just unlocking?

I have been using codes for any Sasmung i9505 4.3 and above before so would rather be safe than sorry.

unlock is safe.
if you want backup EFS you need root phone.
QCN you can read without root.
