a new method is now available with APN settings enabled thanks to z3x and the developer who just created root for this device. The unlock is confirmed working with z3x samsung tool pro. Just google search root J327p and root the device then unlock with z3x.
to remove sprint hands free activation device registration app which gives annoying notifications each time you restart just use titanium backup and uninstall the apps "Sprint OMADM 2.2.5C" and "Sprint OMADM Phone Interface 2.2.5C" after that you will have no more notifications. Also after this the device will no longer receive system updates that im aware of. If this post was helpful please give thanks.

If you wanna unlock without flash all combo, just use eng boot.
Unlock with z3x and flash original boot again.
This method is knox 0.
If you wanna permanent root with recovery you can too. Flash recovery and install supersu zip.

Under Mobile Networks I don't have the option to put APN settings. Also, System select shows change CDMA roaming mode. When I select it shows two options Home only or Automatic
