LG K371 Android 7.0 PIN removal? [Answered] - GSM-Forum

So I have a LG K371 on Android 7.0(I think)
and it is screen locked with a PIN.
I need to remove this PIN.
I have Z3X box with LG 2-3G Tool v9.48 and when I select my model number and go to Workspace and then select Screen Lock Restet I get the following results.

New version. Don't supported.
Reflash phone with checked: erase user data after flash
or make hard reset from keyboards.

I need to NOT erase my data.
Is there a version of LG Tool that I can use to reset PIN without data erase?

Try make Screen Lock reset. If your phone with old firmware you reset, if with new you can't reset without lost data.

Andrew what did you you to resolve this? I have same model it truncate only 3,4,5 and is stuck in download mode.
