n915p domestic unlock no network

Favorite box- z3x.
Appreciate all the hard work z3x team puts in!

I domestic unlocked my n915p (sprint note 4 edge) successfully on the z3x box but I am getting no network. I am running android 5.1.1 and usually I would activate GCF but I cannot get to service menu! Is there anything I can do to make this phone work? Using T-Mobile sim

Are these sprint phones domestic unlocked working on 3g only? Does anyone know how to make them work on 4g?

You have to root the phone and send certain commands via adb to access GCF menu

none for me, and this phone is the whole reason I bought the z3x. I did get my wife's galaxy 6 unlocked. works beautiful on any carrier but of course 3g only.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9u...ew?usp=sharing

do adb shell then

su -c am broadcast -a android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE -d android_secret_code://IOTHIDDENMENU

wtf

what I would like to know is why there is so much trouble with this one and why z3x isn't helping. the galaxy s6 was point and click... done... why is there so much crap and hoops to jump through for this one?

It is pretty simple. If GCF menu is not available just root phone and then bring up command prompt and enter the following:

adb shell
su
am broadcast -a android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE -d android_secret_code://27663368378

That will force hidden menu to show then just select following:

UE SETTINGS & INFO
SETTING
PROTOCOL
GCF
GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF ON

That simple.

what's the skinny on 4g lte with it? I assume it's 3g only which is fine, but have one of you geniuses figured a way to get lte regardless?
