Member: 136882 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | N920 Bootloader/Modem Downgrade I urgently need help. N920C with latest update (N920CXXU3BPIA_N920COXE3BPI2_N920CXXU3BPH4) The modem has been patched before when it was on OJ5 and after that some idiot made the update through ODIN. My problem now is: Downgrade modem impossible cause bootloader is locked. New modem not supported for patch. TWRP installable, root OK. What can I do to get the modem work again? I am trying since 5 hours but no success. Thx in advance |

Member: 136882 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | For all who have the same prob: I managed to return the phone to the initial state. The problem is as described the new bootloader that blocks downgrades. Long before ee had the same probs with S4 phones whose modem could not be repaired after imei write with box. This time we have the possibility of using the combination firmware. Flashing the firmware allows to repair imei (only repair no patch) so that after writing the original imei to the phone and flashing again with the same firmware on the phone the phone becomes alive again. (*#0011# gives answer OK) Tried to do the same procedure with different imei but no network and status N/A. PM me if you have further questions. |
