NEED HELP Unlocking: Samsung Galaxy Exhibit SGH-T599V Cydia Impactor Rooting Error - GSM-Forum

Hey guys, like the title says, I am trying to root an old Samsung Galaxy Exhibit SGH-T599V smartphone (Error Install Failed Invalid Apk). I am using the Cydia Impactor to root. After enabling USB Debugging, I am getting the error:

I tried VRoot.app (King Root) but I need SuperSU to unlock the phone. Please help guys!

I tried Impactor_0.9.42 but I am getting the same error

you must work with impactor 0.9.12

This worked for me to root the SGH-T599V and unlock it:

1. Flash the TWRP Custom Recovery from a T599N: TWRP_CODINALTE.tar.md5
2. From TWRP Recovery, flash the SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822.zip
3. Then unlock it:

Operation: Unlock
Selected model: SGH-T599
Software version: 34.3

Waiting ADB device... OK

Android version: 4.1.2
PDA version: T599VVLAME3

The phone is still going to ask you for a unlock code after unlocking with Z3X. so, just enter the code " 00000000 " (8 Zeros).
